Our Story

In 2005, I, David Munson, came up with ideas for this camera strap.
I was a cyclist and an apprentice to a professional photographer in a small town of Columbia, Missouri.

When I was working in Chicago, I bought a handmade messenger bag.
Since then, I used it almost every day, even in rain and snow.
After a while, it was on its last legs.
I threw away the damaged cloth part of it and I looked at the remaining plastic buckle parts.
I decided to experiment with my girlfriend's old sewing machine.
This is where my story begins...

To my luck, the nylon belts were sold in a simple craft shop in this small, one-square-mile town.
At that time,I met a Japanese man, Yohei, online and he told me that there are specialized shops for these buckles and belts.
The area called Asakusabashi where is my “Dream city-TOKYO” .

He liked my idea so much that we hit it off quickly.
He bought me the materials in Asakusabashi and sent them to Columbia many times.
He also got an used sewing machine.
We made dozens upon dozens of camera straps and competed with each other across the Pacific Ocean.

We like to take pictures and ride bicycle.
we got to know the messenger bag brand FREDRIK PACKERS from Tokyo.
They gave us a lot of tips and advice on how to market the straps and they actually took actions.

We have so many ideas running through our heads.
We are confident that we are thinking about cameras, bicycles and equipment that connects them than anyone else.
We are going to create products no one else has ever seen.
